Bowie Boys and Girls Club Field Day 2015 – August 15th from 2 to 5pm at White Marsh Park

Redskins Legend Gary Clark will be at the Field Day event!  Gary will be working with the football section for the entire event, along with sponsoring a skills challenge for the kids and presenting awards to the winners.  Thank you to Gary Clark for supporting BBGC!

Bowie Boys and Girls Club (BBGC) is excited to announce our first ever BBGC Field Day event taking place at White Marsh Park (100 White Marsh Park Dr, Bowie, MD 20716, located by SportFit Bowie) on Saturday, August 15th from 2 to 5pm.  Now is your chance to try all 14 sports BBGC has to offer for FREE!  BBGC Sports include:

The BBGC Field Day event will allow you and your child to meet the Sport Commissioners and sample each sport for free!  Each sport will have games and activities set-up to give you and your child an understanding of how the sport is played, the equipment used, and answer any questions you may have about playing the sport.  Best of all, you and your child will be able to participate in a “practice” and view a scrimmage throughout the day of each sport. 

The BBGC Field Day event is open to all children aged 4 years or older.

What about Food?

Paradise Catering will be providing food for purchase at the event.  We will also be providing over 1,000 bottles of water for free to those in attendance!

Additional Details

BBGC will also be handing out the Volunteer of the Year award(s) for 2014/15 at the event.  As BBGC is 100% managed by volunteers, this is our opportunity to thank and highlight the accomplishments to the person or persons who exemplified not only a commitment to a sport, but to BBGC as an organization. 

BBGC is honored to have Mayor Robinson, State Senator Douglas J.J.
