Click the "REGISTER" link at the top right of this page to create a new BBGC family account.  You will then be asked for Primary and Secondary contact information.  From here you will be asked to input participants (children).  Once they are in the system, their gender and age will determine the sports they are able to register for.

Volleyball - Spring Coed 2017

Fall Volleyball - We play in Ann Arundel County League and Games are on Sunday in Ann Arundel. Refund Policy: No refunds after August14, 2017. There is $35.00 Non-refundable before August15, 2017.  
We will have (1) team in each age group only! Space are limit and practice days TBA.

Baton / Poms - 2017-2018

Welcome to BBGC Blazers Baton/Poms Program. The BBGC Blazers is a Baton and Pom Corp that is operated through the Bowie Boys and Girls Club. This was a new sports choice that began in February 2013.

Our teams will compete under the USTA (United States Twirling Association) membership and the Maryland Baton Council.

The Mission of the Bowie Boys and Girls Club Blazers is to instruct the participants with Baton Twirling and Pom manipulations.  They will then apply these abilities into learned routines and present these routines in competitions, parades and various exhibitions. Our goal is to train the participants in such a manner that they may be able to present themselves with confidence as a team.

Practices are held at Rockledge Elementary on Tuesday and Thursdays in the multi-purpose room from 6:30pm -9pm (depending upon age of child). We take members in the ages of 5-18 years. No experience is necessary and you must be registered with Bowie Boys and Girls Club.    

Baton/Poms has two seasons to register for on our web site at www.bbgc.com  

BATON/POMS – FALL 2017    $100  The season starts September 12, 2017 and ends December 19, 2017. Registration dates are June 1, 2017 – September 30, 2017. The fall season is a time to introduce Baton/Poms to our members. Routines will also be developed during this time.

BATON/POMS – PRE-SPRING 2018    $180.00 The season starts January 2, 2018 and ends June 14, 2018. Registration dates are October 1, 2017 – January 30, 2018.  There will be no refunds after January 17th. Routines learned in the fall will be applied to competitions, parades and various exhibitions. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn.

Soccer - Fall 2017 Travel & County Teams

Fall Travel and Semi-Travel (County) Soccer Tryouts

There is no cost to attend our tryouts.  All players are eligible for the highest level team and those players are chosen by the coaches based on tryout performance in addition to other team dynamics.  

Team age groups will now be based solely on calendar year.  

Play up requests will only be considered following the guidelines set forth by the club.

Upon acceptance of team invitation, you will register for your specific age group team and make a non-refundable 50% payment as a commitment to the team.  The BBGC soccer fee for our Travel and Semi-Travel (County) level teams is $150 per person, per season.  Individual teams can also have additional fees to cover additional team costs such as tournaments or indoor soccer sessions.  This will be paid by check before the start of the season and is a cost assigned to all players. Coaches will have an estimate of the amount during tryouts but typically ranges from $50-$150 for the travel teams and $0 additional cost for County level (semi-travel) teams.

Soccer - Intramural, Fall 2017

Our Intramural league places all registered players onto Co-Ed teams which will play against each other on fields in Bowie.  In the fall, our season starts in late August and runs through early November.  Your child must have turned 4 by the end of the season to play BBGC soccer.  Teams practice up to two times each week with games held mainly on Saturdays.  Your team’s practice schedule will be determined by your assigned coach.  Therefore, please list any practice day conflicts in the registration system to ensure you are accommodated to the best of our ability.  BBGC is an all-volunteer organization and the best way to ensure you get the schedule you want, is to step up and become a Coach.  Anyone interested in coaching in the Intramural program should contact me  or your age-group commissioner well before the start of the season.  Soccer@bbgc.com

The only equipment required for your child is soccer shin pads.  Although it is very helpful to have soccer cleats, they are not mandatory.  Baseball and football cleats with a front cleat are not allowed for soccer.  The game jersey will be orange and black jerseys provided by your coach at the start of the season.  Be sure to set the correct size in the registration system when registering.  Our leagues are organized into the following groups: U4&U5, U5&6, U7&8, U9&10, U11&12, and U13-16.
