Baseball - Fall Clinic 2025

BBGC is a 100% volunteer organization and has been since 1963. The club president, athletic director, sports commissioners, board members, coaches, and team parents are all unpaid volunteers.

The clinics will be offered as follows:
Ages 4-5 will workout from 11am-12:00pm 9/6 and 9/13 (Only TWO Sessions for this age group)
Ages 6 through 14 on Saturdays (8/16, 8/23, 8/30 and 9/6). Ages 6 to 10 will workout from 12pm to 2pm. While ages 11 to 14 will workout from 2pm to 4pm.


These workouts will take place at Jericho Park.

NO REFUNDS in the Baseball Program.

Developmental, Fall 2025

Soccer Developmental Program – Fall 2025

Thank you for registering for the Bowie FC Developmental (formerly Intramural) program. All players born between November 2022 and December 2016 are accepted into the program. The Fall season begins in late August with practices and ends in early November. Please visit the Bowie FC website (www.bowiesoccer.com) for more information. Upon completion of this registration process, you will be asked to provide payment information.

Bowie FC is a volunteer organization and needs coaches. Volunteering to coach is a great way to develop your coaching skills and give back to the community. By being a head coach, you get to set your practice schedule (day and time), have access to The Coaching Manual to help plan your training sessions, and are provided a refund of your registration fee after the season when you return your equipment. If you are interested in coaching, please sign up during this registration process.

NOTES: Please list any practice day conflicts and special requests in the registration system. We try to accommodate parental schedule requests, but we cannot guarantee them. Players are randomly assigned to teams, and we are not able to accommodate specific requests.

Football 2025

Welcome to BBGC's Football Program for 2025!

The Bowie Bulldogs Program is a part of the Mid-Maryland Youth Football and Cheer League. Information about the MMYFCL league can be found here: https://www.midmarylandfootball.com/about. Information about the Bowie Football team can be found here: https://www.bowiebulldogsfootball.com/.

The Bowie Bulldogs Program offers:
  • Tackle (ages 5-14) and Flag (ages 5-6)
  • Synthetic Turf Football Field (Three Additional Grass Practice Fields) - All Practices are held at White Marsh Park in Bowie
  • No Boundaries for Eligibility
  • Age / Weight Restrictions and Limits & Unlimited- High Quality Football Equipment
  • Experienced Coaches at All Levels (High School, College & NFL Experience) (USA Football & Heads-Up Certified)
  • Three Skill Levels of Competition (Competitive & Developmental)
  • 8- to 10 Game Season Schedule (Playoffs & Super Bowl for All Levels) 

The following information is for the TACKLE program ONLY: 

Registration:

Registration includes equipment provided by BBGC, which consists of the following: helmet, shoulder pads, knee pads, and a game uniform will be distributed. Parents are responsible for supplying their own mouthpieces, protective cup, chinstrap, football girdle and practice jerseys. We recommend that you obtain the aforementioned equipment at your neighborhood athletic store such as Dick’s before the first practice. 

To finalize registration, a $400 uniform/equipment deposit is REQUIRED AND MANDATORY. This is not liquid cash - just a deposit that will NOT be cashed unless the equipment/uniform is not returned. The deposit is required regardless if you have your own equipment or not. BBGC will accept deposits in 2 forms - please have either options ready when you come to the field to pick-up your equipment.

  • Option 1: A check post-dated to December 31, 2025. Checks should be made payable to Bowie Boys & Girls Club. CHECKS WILL NOT BE CASHED UNLESS THE EQUIPMENT/UNIFORM IS NOT RETURNED. THERE IS NO PARTIAL UNIFORM DEPOSITS REGARDLESS OF THE AMOUNT OF EQUIPMENT YOU RECEIVE.

  • Option 2: If you are unable to provide a check, the club will provide you with an ACH Authorization form and will securely store the information throughout the remainder of the season. If you are using this option, please have your account and routing information available when you come to the field.

Once equipment/jerseys are returned at the end of the season, your check or ACH form will be returned to you or shredded at your request.

Equipment Distribution (for tackle only):

The dates for equipment distribution are listed below and will occur at Whitemarsh Park (100 Whitemarsh Park Drive, Bowie, MD 20715). In order to ensure a smooth process, please come to the dates designated below for the appropriate age group.

  • Tuesday, July 8, 6pm-8pm, (ages 11u – 14u)
  • Wednesday, July 9, 6pm-8pm, (ages 8u-10u)
  • Thursday, July 10, 6pm-8pm (ages 5u - 7u) 

2025 Tackle Season Starts on July 21st!  

Once registered and your player’s equipment is received, all players should report for the first day of practice on Monday, July 21st beginning at 6:30PM and ending at 8:30PM.

Please keep in mind that parents are NOT allowed on the field for any reason. In addition, parents will NOT be allowed within the fence on the HOME side, which includes the bleachers, until Monday, July 29th, due to equipment distribution. The bleachers on the VISITOR side will be open. To reiterate, parents are not allowed inside the gate for any reason. 

Practice will be 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). ***subject to change for certain age groups*** until the start of the Prince George's County Public School year.

All activities will take place at Whitemarsh Park (100 Whitemarsh Park Dr, Bowie , MD 20175) from 6:30PM-8:30PM unless otherwise noted.

Below is a TENTATIVE schedule for the first two weeks of practice (subject to change). All players should wear the following (July 21st - August 2nd):

7/21 - MONDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM, HELMET, t-shirt, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece.
7/22 - TUESDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM, HELMET, t-shirt, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece.
7/23 - WEDNESDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM, HELMET, t-shirt, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece.
7/24 - THURSDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM, HELMET, SHOULDER PADS, t-shirt, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece.
7/25 - FRIDAY - OFF
7/26 - SATURDAY - OFF
7/28 - MONDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM, HELMET, SHOULDER PADS, t-shirt, shorts, cleats and mouthpiece.
7/29 - TUESDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM – FULL PADS
7/30 - WEDNESDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM – FULL PADS
7/31 - THURSDAY - 6:30PM-8:30PM – FULL PADS
8/1 - FRIDAY – OFF

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Players who are not completely registered for the Bowie Bulldogs Football Program, including providing the uniform deposit, WILL NOT be allowed to practice starting on July 21st. 

The following information is for the FLAG program ONLY: 

All activities will take place at Whitemarsh Park (100 Whitemarsh Park Dr, Bowie , MD 20175) at the times listed below unless otherwise noted.

  • For planning purposes, the first practice for Flag Football will start around August 10th.
  • Registration includes game uniforms and additional equipment needed for the season. Parents are responsible for supplying their own mouthpieces and cleats. For your information, the aforementioned equipment can be purchased at your neighborhood athletic store such as Dick’s.
  • Summer practices leading up to the first game is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
  • Tuesday and Thursday practices will be from 6:30PM - 7:45PM. Saturday practices will be from 10:00AM-11:30AM.
  • The first game is tentatively scheduled for the week of September 7th.
  • Once games start, we will no longer have practices on Saturday.
  • Official information will be communicated closer to the start of the season.

Additional Information for both tackle and flag programs:

MOUTHPIECES ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED AT ANY TEAM ACTIVITY. Players without mouthpieces will not be allowed to participate.

In preparation for the season, all players should begin to acquire a State ID from the MVA. If you are a DC resident, MMYFCL will issue league IDs before the start of the season since DCOne cards will not be accepted. Players will not be certified on official rosters without a state issued ID or MMYFCL ID. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GRANTED BY OUR LEAGUE.

Baseball - Fall Travel/Select 2025

Travel/Select Baseball tryouts

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE YOUNGEST TEAM LISTED FOR YOUR PLAYER. ONLY PLAY UP IF YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO THE COACH YOU ARE TRYING OUT FOR.

There is no cost to attend our tryouts, but you need to register. If your player is selected to a travel or Select team, you will be sent an email that contains a link to finalize registration and pay for your specific age group. (If you have received and offer from a coach within 10 days you have made the team, if not we encourage you to attend the next tryouts.)

Travel Teams - Play league Games and Tournaments and Doubleheaders
Select Teams - Play league Games and NO Tournaments and LIMITED to NO Doubleheaders (Developmental Teams)

The fee for our travel/Select level teams is $350. ALL NEW PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A BLAST MOTION SENSOR ($125) for hitting development and tracking. Total Fall Fee is $475.

Individual teams can also have additional fees to cover additional team costs such as tournaments or other baseball activities. ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A BLAST MOTION SENSOR ($125) for hitting development and tracking.

Travel teams are comprised of players selected through a tryout process. See the baseball page for tryout date details. You can also like us on Facebook and Instagram.

Our teams compete in various leagues (CBA and MABA) within Maryland determined by the caliber of the individual team. Please note that this program is more competitive and time consuming than Rec baseball. It is designed for players who are serious about baseball and desire to compete at a higher level of play. The season runs from early August through Early November.

Registration Instructions

Click the "REGISTER" link at the top right of this page to create a new BBGC family account.  You will then be asked for Primary and Secondary contact information.  From here you will be asked to input participants (children).  Once they are in the system, their gender and age will determine the sports they are able to register for.
