2026 Baseball - Pre Spring Clinic

BBGC is a 100% volunteer organization and has been since 1963. The club president, athletic director, sports commissioners, board members, coaches, and team parents are all unpaid volunteers.

These clinics will be run by our travel coaches. We hope you attend to sharpen your skills needed before the spring Rec Season.

The clinics will be offered for the following days-

Session 1: Jan 10 & 17 Ages 6 -10 Years Old 4-6:00pm

Session 2: Jan 24 & 31 Ages 10 -14 Years Old 4-6:00pm

Session 3: Feb 7 & 14 Ages 6 -10 Years Old 4-6:00pm

Session 4: Feb 21 & 28 Ages 10 -14 Years Old 4-6:00pm

These sessions will take place at an indoor facility.

Make-up days will be attempted but are not guaranteed.

No Refunds for Clinics.

Softball - Spring 2026

Spring Softball is an instructional league that introduces new players to the game and provides experienced players an arena to improve their skills and knowledge.

The game season runs for 10 weeks: Optional Winter Workouts starting in January (10u and Up) Practices start in Mid March .

8U Intramural $150 ($50 off if you played in the Fall 2025 and DO NOT need Jersey)

Track Winter (Indoor) Spring(Outdoor) Intramural(Spring)

County/Travel WINTER /SpringTrack Program: Ages 5-18, Practices TBA.

Intramural Spring track Ages: 5-11 . (1) practice week and (1) Track Meet week. Practices TBA (Cost: $150.00)

Winter season starts October 2025 - March 2025 - Spring season April 2025. We participate in track meets throughout the Washington, DC area. More information to come. We have had several athletes achieve All-American and Honorable Mention All-American status. Spring Track Only: $400.00. There are limit number of space per age group. Please register earlier.

Baton/ Twirling Winter Program 2025/2026

Join Baton Twirling Winter Program at the Boys and Girls Club! This program is designed for children who are interested in learning baton twirling skills and participating in local competitions / parades.

Registration Detail:

Age: 5-18 years old

Registration for 2025: November 19 , 2025 - January 12, 2026

Schedule: January 21,2026 - June 8, 2026

Practice will be held at Rockledge Elementary School Bowie on Mondays and Wednesday. The hours are 6:30pm - 8:00pm. The ending times will be determined later.

Intramural Basketball -Boys and Girls 25/2026

The BBGC Winter Basketball Program

The BBGC basketball program is for boys and girls ages 4- 10 and is broken down into age divisions of play. Our INTRAMURAL program is our in house program and all games will be played on the weekends within the City of Bowie against teams consisting of other BBGC players. Intramural is designed to introduce players to the game of basketball and teach the basic fundamentals while participating in organized play.

Weekend Only, Saturday and Sunday

Registration until 14 January for $150.00

Intramural basketball will be starts 17-18 January 2026. Start time change, because low registration and games at the City Gym next weekend and we are looking for a few more coaches. Registration will stay opened until 14 January 2026. If you are interested in coaching, please send me email.

Intramural Basketball Schedule

(2) Dates: Weekend Only - 17 January 2026 - 8 February 2026

(3) Times: 4 & 5 years old 9:00am - 10:00am

6 - 9 years old 10:00am - 11:00am

(4) Uniforms: Every register player will get basketball jersey.

Wear sneakers.

(5) Just Water Allow in Gym. No Food, Gatorade, etc.
