BOWIE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

The Bowie Boys and Girls Club (BBGC) is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. The Club was established in 1963 and remains committed to its mission of character building, integrity, and teamwork. As BBGC enters a new season of sports, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce new and improved services.


BBGC encourages families to register their school-aged children for a season filled with activity, fun, athletic development, and community involvement.

BBGC Purpose Statement

“The purpose of the Bowie Boys and Girls Club shall be to promote the general welfare, health, and education of the youth of our community by providing a properly supervised athletic program; to develop principles of good sportsmanship; to acquaint them with the value of law observance; to provide instruction in the fundamentals of all sports and athletic activities; to foster interests among the citizens of our community in their responsibility to our youth; and to prepare our youth to be better citizens in the future.”

For more than 60 years, the Bowie Boys and Girls Club has served the youth of our community through sports, mentorship, teamwork, and character development. Established in 1963, BBGC remains committed to building young people through character, integrity, teamwork, sportsmanship,  and community responsibility.

    BBGC is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers who are committed to serving Bowie families and investing in the next generation. Our programs are built around supervised athletic instruction, positive youth development, and preparing children to become better citizens.

  • Sports for Every Season

    BBGC offers a wide range of athletic opportunities throughout the year, including baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, football, cheerleading, volleyball, wrestling, track, cricket, strength and conditioning, and more. With programs available across multiple seasons, families have options that fit their child’s interests and growth.

    Winning matters, but character matters more. BBGC focuses on teaching the fundamentals of sports while also developing discipline, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and responsibility.

    Our coaches, commissioners, board members, and volunteers give their time to create a safe, organized, and rewarding experience for players and families. BBGC is powered by people who care deeply about youth, families, and the Bowie community.
