Bowie Boys and Girls Club Track and Field program is co-ed, United States Track and Field USATF based program. The program is open to all youth ages 5 through 18.  and others.  If your child's goal is to become an elite athlete, or if your child just would like to participate for fun, we are the club for you.

We participate in track meets throughout the Washington, DC area. More information to come. We have had several athletes achieve All-American and Honorable Mention All-American status.

Spring Track: $350.00-----

Practice at Riverdale Baptist School, Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays at 6:00pm subject to change

County/Travel Track Program: Ages 7-18 Practices time 6:30 to 8:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 

The season starts April and runs through July. We participate in track meets throughout the Washington, DC area. Most track meets are held on Saturdays starting in early spring.  

We also participate in the USATF Junior Olympic Program on the Local, Regional and National Level. We have had several athletes achieve All-American and Honorable Mention All-American status. The registration fee for ages 7 to 18 as of the current year January 1, 2024 cost $350.00.

Warmup Set Optional Cost: $85.00..

There will be additional traveling and Hotel cost for those that advance to USATF regional and National meets & we will have some Fundraisers!

***Intramural Track Program for 5 weeks for Beginners***** 26 February 2024 3 April 2024

Intramural Base Program:  Coaches teach our athletes the fundamentals of track and field, physical education, teamwork and respect of self and others. Practices are (TBA)  Practices Time 5:30pm to 7:00pm Monday only. Cost $150.00 includes uniforms & (2) Washington Commander Raffle Ticket. No warmup! No uniform for intramural track select yes for uniform question. Track Meets will be at the Sports & Learning Complex. (TBA). participants 5 years -12 years

Looking for Coaches! Coaches are always needed and welcome.  

The Bowie Boys and Girls Club will issue a refund minus a $25.00 administrative fee for Spring Intramural Track until 20 February 2024 After this date, NO REFUND REQUESTS will be accept and all paid registration fees will be forfeited to the BBGC.
